Kurt Kahler recently emailed with a question:  Where in East Iowa is Where in East Iowa?  The answer to that, of course, is simple:  It’s right here!  Oh... you mean where has it been the past few weeks?  Also simple: On hiatus - long enough to recharge the ol’ batteries but not quite long enough to give any competing newspapers sneaky ideas. 

So with that answered, it’s good to be back!  And all the way back to three weeks ago we had a photo of a brick hatchery and former implement dealership at the end of Main Street in Victor. 

Roger Pawlak kind-of-sort-of recognized it (which he sure as heck should considering he is the mayor of Victor and HE OWNS THE FREAKING BUILDING!)  as did Bob Dentel (you’re welcome - let’s go for a spin sometime), Cynthia Scandridge, Jan Bringmann (thanks for the story - always great to hear from you!), Jeanne Kochuyt (thank you so much for the kind words - next time shout out - it’s always good to see you!), and Virginia Arens. 

Chuck Gorsch (good to meet you!) and Evelyn Peska (via Kurt Kahler) came in with near misses. 

This week we have something really cool - or terrifying depending on your feelings about things with multiple legs.
