I am extremely happy and grateful to be in a position to stir up memories. Last week’s photo of the school in Guernsey definitely stirred some up - however, they weren’t all of Guernsey. In my opinion, that’s OK - for something like this, we’ll count every answer as the right answer.
Jan King got it right (thanks for the note!) as did Julie Cline and Bonnie Meketsy (thanks for the note - it’s great to hear from you). I was hoping to hear from the people who have now made the school their home (what a cool thing to do!) but no luck. You’d think they’d page through the paper, see the picture and think, “Hmmm... looks kinda familiar. Where have I seen that before...?”
This week we have a scene that reminds us a change of seasons is upon us. Hopefully that won’t mean several feet will be upon us, too. Regardless, the peaceful view is almost enough to make me forget about last winter.
