So where are the Halloween fans?
The Where in East Iowa photo from a few weeks ago was a nasty little guy perched on Marengo’s Haunted Barn. Although only Jeanne Kochuyt (thanks for the note and the kind words - it’s always great to hear from you!) recognized it, I know for a fact that bunches of people visited it for a good scare - I waited in line behind them, listening to the screams as people ran out!
Seriously, it is over for this year but if you’ve never been, make a point of visiting next year - it is one of the best.
This week we have something that could be from a really large Erector Set - or it could be something from Oz. But if it is the latter, where are Dorothy, Toto and the Cowardly Lion? And where in East Iowa is this?
