Apparently Dorothy hasn’t managed to get her Internet connection worked out - either that or she has never visited Ladora, Iowa.
Of course if she had, she would certainly have found last week’s photo of the water tower near the old school a familiar presence (face?). Well, it looks like the tin man to me, but then I have a weird imagination.
Jeanne Kochuyt got it (thanks for the note - as for angling out the red top, well, I couldn’t make it too easy) as did Brian Ward (who knows a thing or two about water seeing as he’s the Ladora Fire Chief - it’s good to hear from you) and Chuck Gorsch (looks to me as though you are right on the money!). Evelyn Peska and her accomplice Kurt Kahler came in with a close miss, guessing the water tower in West Amana.
As I type these words it is Veteran’s Day. As such, this week we have a permanent memorial to them.
