I wonder if the bale feeder pictured last week at Marengo Farm & Home would work for four large, spoiled, overly well-fed dogs? For certain, buying food for them by the bale would have to be cheaper.
Until our helpful readers chimed in, I didn’t know what the thing was but Jeanne Kochuyt (thanks for the note!) did - and she also knew it was at Farm & Home - as did Virginia Arens (thanks for the note and the explanation!).
With the rush of Thanksgiving now history, we have less than a month to go to re-whet our appetites for turkey before Christmas kicks in (or maybe we’ll all have ham). Regardless, 'tis the season - and in communities across East Iowa, the signs are already there.
